More details:

Grief can profoundly affect the mind, body, and spirit. This 4-week small group program will offer yoga, meditation, reflection, and discussion as tools for moving through grief. With the support of individuals who have experienced loss, participants will learn how mind-body practice can support their self-care and assist with the work of grieving.

Whether your loss is recent or took place years ago, you are welcome to join us. All movement/yoga will be gentle, and can be practiced in a chair if desired.

About the facilitator:

Ellen McSweeney (LGSW, RYT) is a psychotherapist with a special focus on trauma and grief. She has been a student of yoga and meditation since 2005, and has completed hundreds of hours of training as a facilitator of mind-body practices, including Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.
