Parent Loss Support Group for Young Adults
The death of a parent is a transformative event that touches every aspect of our lives. Those who experience this loss in young adulthood are often the first in their peer group to do so. Intense grief may be compounded by feelings of isolation — even the sense of “living on a different planet” from our friends, co-workers, and partners.
This 6-week group will offer the chance to connect with and be supported by other young adults who have experienced the death of a parent. We will also explore a variety of tools for reflection, self-expression, and self-care — including meditation, movement, writing, and the creation of meaningful rituals. Whether your loss is recent or years ago, you are welcome to join us.
The group will be offered virtually on the Google Meet video conference platform. To register please fill out this form.
Starts September 8
